What is
Mikkeller Beijing
?
In the historical center of Beijing, next to the centuries old Buddhist Guangji-temple, lies Mikkeller’s largest bar.
Spanning two floors and 260 square meters, with a spacious terrace, 20 taps, and room for nearly 250 guests, it’s designed for gathering, exploring, and enjoying modern craft beer.
The bar is housed in an old Qing-dynasty building with a black-grey pitched roof, rows of lacquered columns and other traditional features of Chinese architecture.Inside, we’ve blended these historic surroundings with the familiar, whimsical Mikkeller universe featuring Henry and Sally to create an intersection between old Beijing and contemporary craft culture. We’ve gone all the way here and hired a feng shui consultant to make sure the place is ghost free and the logo of the bar features the city’s mascot, Lord Rabbit, so we hope for good fortune. Swing by for a modern craft beer experience in historical surroundings at this new Mikkeller flagship.
