Beer Dinner with Yatai 25 & 26 of November.
Beer freaks and dinner geeks we have some great news.
From our travels through the darkness of Scotland we discover a true eastern gem based in the Granite City. Yatai have been pushing the boundaries of traditional Japanese cuisine with the addition of using locally sourced seasonal ingredients for many years and have gone from strength to strength. They have caused such an impact that only 8 months after opening they received the national award for Oriential cuisine in Scotland.
With this in mind Mikkeller would like to present an opportunity for the beer and food freaks an intimate chance to experience this unique approach to Japanese food. Mikkeller will pairing some of our finest, and rarest, beers for this 7 course masterpiece. The beer list is a closely guarded secret for this event but we would like to get your mind racing by announcing the one off appearance of a brand new beer. Cù't Cà Phê Bia Calvados edition. There is only one keg of this special beer and what better way to showcase this beast than by pairing it with some of the finest examples of Japanese street food outside of the Orient.
