Introducing: Mikkeller Beer Celebration Beijing (MBCB)
After 14 years of Mikkeller Beer Celebrations across Copenhagen, Boston, Tokyo and most recently the Faroe Islands, it’s time to serve some world class beer in a brand-new location. We’re thrilled to announce that the Mikkeller Beer Celebration is heading to Beijing – the heart of China. For the very first time!
Dates: October 31 and November 1 2025 (yes.. this year!)
Mikkeller Beer Celebration Beijing (MBCB) will take place for the very first time and we have invited 40 breweries to join us and celebrate beer with you. There will be three (3) sessions of four (4) hours where you can taste two different beers from each brewery.
Why Beijing?
Beijing is a city that never stops evolving. From ancient historical hutongs and imperial palaces to futuristic architecture and a new wave of creative subcultures. Over the past years, Beijing has also become a magnet for a growing community of beer enthusiasts and craft pioneers, with a local scene that’s both bold and uncompromising.
With Mikkeller having opened pop-up bars in collaboration with El Nido, we are now ready to take part in the development of Beijing and we see it as a natural next step for Mikkeller. It is the perfect time and place to throw Mikkeller Beer Celebration and invite the rest of the world to join us.
