Annual Icelandic Beer Festival 2018 recap

Greetings from Iceland & Annual Icelandic Beer Festival 2018!

We packed up some amazing kegs and flew to the great island known as Iceland, for the Annual Icelandic Beer Festival, hosted by Kex Hostel & Kex Brewing. Great reunion with all the Kex-staff & all the other brewers. 

Of course we couldn't wait to go and visit our friends and colleges at Mikkeller & Friends Reykjavik, who hosted some really badass tap takeovers the whole week, starting Wednesday with our friends from Veil Brewing Co. 

For Thursdays taste session we brought out our great Hallo Ich Bin Berliner Weisse Raspberry (Oregon) and one of our personal favorites, Acid Trip B.A. White Wine. The rest of the weekend we were delighted to see your great taste for our Spontanpentadruple-beers! Yes, we brought both blueberry & raspberry. And yes - you drank it all way before closing! 

The whole festival went on really smooth, with a great arrangement from Kex, and with many new friends and new tastes of beer for us. We wrapped up the weekend with some great food from Dill Restaurant, and I think I speak for all of us when I say we'll all be back. 

Thank you to all brewers who made the weekend so special, and a big thank you to the amazing staff at Mikkkeller & Friends Reykjavik. And most of all - thank you Kex for making this happen. See you next year!
